In every game I've played online there are tons of morons, as there are here.
For instance, people who actually sit down for hours rolling dice and playing on a fake map of the world.
If you want an intelligent game of tactics and strategy, play any of the Total War franchise, as I like to do from time to time. But enough with this Risk trash. If you prize your "skills" at rolling dice in that game, then I'm sure you are the type who is rewarded by your mommy when you make it to the poddy on time. Juvenile.
But onto maturity. Diversity is key. There should be a range. As the people like myself will always need to have others, like those posted above, to take advantage of by a myriad of means within the game.
In short, CS seems to have a caste system. At the bottom are miners, then you just work your way up. (that ought to anger plenty of people)
Risk takes far more strategy and planning than any video game, save maybe Civ. Not only that, but it is a far more social and mature game as you have to actually be in the same room as your opponents, not trash talking another 12 year old over your head set.
Don't trash a game just because you have no RL friends to play it with.
